The Envelope Counter Stool takes our signature solid timber frame and elevates it with a traditional "envelope" seat weave. This complex pattern creates four distinct triangles that meet in the centre, adding visual depth and architectural interest to your kitchen island.
Handwoven in Wollongong from over 120 metres of continuous Danish cord, this seat isn't just beautiful—it's incredibly strong. The diagonal strands distribute weight evenly, creating a supportive, comfortable seat that holds its shape for decades.

Made to Order: This weave takes time and precision. Please allow 2–4 weeks for us to craft and finish your stools.

To keep things fair, we offer flat-rate delivery for our local areas and custom quotes for everywhere else.
- Illawarra Local Delivery: $50 flat rate.
(Covers Wollongong, Shellharbour, and Kiama). - Sydney Metro Delivery: $150 flat rate.
(Standard delivery to greater Sydney). - Regional & Interstate: Invoiced Separately.

Living with Danish Cord
Danish cord is incredibly strong, but it is a paper product.
- Spills: Blot liquid immediately with a clean, dry cloth. Do not rub, as this can damage the fibres.
- Cleaning: Vacuum gently with a soft brush attachment to remove dust. Avoid harsh detergents or soaking the cord.
- Wear: The cord will naturally relax slightly over the first few months of use—this is normal.
Timber Care
- Wipe down with a damp (not wet) cloth.
- Avoid placing the bench in direct, harsh sunlight or directly in front of heaters/AC vents, as extreme temperature changes can cause timber to move or crack.
