What kind of wood do you use?
We work primarily with Tasmanian Oak and Blackwood, sourced from trusted Australian suppliers. Each timber has its own beautiful grain and character. If you’re unsure which would suit your space best, let us know — we’re happy to help you choose.
Can I customise the size or design?
Yes — most of our pieces can be tailored to fit your space. Whether you need a different length, seat height, or a specific finish, we’ll work with you to create the perfect fit. Reach out via the product page or email us to start the conversation.
What is Danish paper cord, and how does it hold up?
Danish cord is a natural, twisted paper cord that’s both strong and beautiful. It’s been used in Scandinavian furniture for decades and holds up very well over time with basic care. We use traditional weaving techniques to ensure both durability and comfort.
Where are you based?
We’re a small studio based in Wollongong, NSW, just south of Sydney. All of our furniture is designed, built, and woven here by hand.
Do you ship Australia-wide?
Yes, we do! We offer delivery across Australia using trusted carriers. Local delivery may be done by us personally. Shipping rates are calculated at checkout, but if you have a special request or live in a tricky spot, just reach out and we’ll work it out together.
What’s the lead time?
Because every piece is handmade to order, our typical lead time is between 1 and 4 weeks, depending on the size and materials. We’ll always keep you updated on where your order is at — from timber selection to weaving and final finish.
How do I care for my furniture?
To keep your piece looking beautiful, avoid placing it in direct sunlight or damp areas. Dust with a soft cloth and spot-clean with a slightly damp cloth if needed. Don’t use harsh cleaners. Over time, you may choose to oil or condition the timber — we’re happy to provide recommendations.
Do you accept returns?
Because each piece is custom-made, we’re unable to accept returns for a change of mind. That said, if anything arrives damaged or isn’t what you expected, please let us know within 48 hours and we’ll sort it out. We stand by our craftsmanship and want you to love your piece.
